QUARTZ STONE CARE GUIDE
Quartz is a resin and mineral mixture. This surface is visually beautiful and offers great durability. It is a non porous surface that resists staining and scratches making it easy to maintain. Quartz does not require resealing and come in diffrent patterns.
Strength and Durability:
Quartz surfaces are strong and durable. Even though this stone is everlasting it can still be damaged and chipped. Heavy objects may cause this damage.
Maintenance Free:
Quartz stone resists stains from fruit juices, wine, food coloring, tea, nail polish. Unlike granite, quartz does not require sealing, polishing or reconditioning. To clean, wash with soap and warm water or a non-abrasive cleaner.
Caution
-Products that have oil or powders may leave a residue
-Abrasive scrubbers and cleaners may dull the surface of the stone.
-Grill cleaner may discolor the stone and should be avoided.
-Damage can be caused by hot objects. Hot plates or a potholder will reduce thermal shock to the surface.
-Not recommended for outdoor use.
